Have you ever watched Alice in Wonderland when you're little? If not, you better go and watch it now. It is a good example which is used, to explain how the wormhole works, which(perhaps) will make it possible for us to travel between universes. Just like Alice, travelling to the other world, that have different laws,rules,and common logics, in how they think. And Alice, amazingly,and calmly adopt herself in that magical world. Will we be like Alice one day? Our imagination runs wild, thinking deeper about this i guess.
Are you guessing what wormhole is? Take a piece of an A4 paper. Then you make two dots. on the paper (far on the two sides of paper). Logically,the nearest distance is straight line. Next,you fold the paper into two. Its nearer and the dots can 'touch' each other. Common knowledge is that,space bends. to travel between this two dots, is to go through it. Make a hole,go through that paper to travel between dots. That is what wormhole is. These dots be our universe.Or can be planets.
A popular series during my teens, Stargate SG-1. Yup,it's like that. Will we build a stargate in the future? I don't know. But,remember that, physicists is still trying to figure out,whether it is possible to physically travel between wormhole,if wormhole is possible. If one day,they can make a wormhole,they will make experiment,perhaps sending something to confirms it. A machine to take footage,to know for sure ,if we need to wear protective gear,or how's its temperature and does it have oxygen, and if it have.....living being? And intelligence creatures?
Why is it important to talk about wormhole? Again, our universe,one day in the future,is doom to die. And we the humans, doesn't want to be a part of it,and wants to escape destruction. Well, the only way,is to escape and go into other universe,and starts new life there. If there are other universes,and that universe,have habitable planets,or resources that we can use while staying in space ships,or shall we say space colonies. And if wormhole can be made, and travelling physically between wormhole is possible,that is. We'll continue later.
