Why must we discriminate in a negative manner? We should learn the differences so that we may benefit from it.
I don't think that being gay,lesbian and so on is acceptable way of life from my personal view.
But,it is not the reason for us to treat them badly.
We should give them their rights for security,career and any other rights that humans should have in a good society.
And,the thing that we can do is approach and engage them,having scholarly dialogue,peace dialogue,
and telling them what is right,and give them choice to choose.
Bring them to the good path,in a good manner.
Because what we say is true,and others choose not accept it,it is not a green light for us to do it in a harsh way.
That is the test for us.Be patience.To spread the truth,to invite people to live the way of life ordered by Allah s,w,t is not easy.
Practising it also a good method.People will see and learn from us that benefits them in living their life.
Speak good words,treat people the way they should be treated,Be kind and humble.
